The Data Path Solutions (DPS) product line is seeking a highly motivated, hands-on experienced candidate to join the high speed interface applications engineering team. This position is based in Santa Clara, CA.
As a System Applications Engineer you will be part of a team that defines, write specifications and validate product performance on high speed equalizer/repeaters, retimers, serializer and deserializer products used in multi-gigabit data communication applications. The primary focus will be data center infrastructure and ultra-high definition video systems transporting 10+ Gbps serial data over copper transmission media.
In this position you will:
oWork closely with design, marketing and key customers in defining products that solve customers' signal integrity challenges
oParticipate in trade shows, follow industry trends and industry communication standards
oEngage in product validation and testing to ensure compliance to product specifications and industry standards
oDevelop high-speed evaluation modules to demonstrate product performance
oEngage with world-wide customers and field staff; some international travel is required
This position requires system-level knowledge in key communication standards, hands-on experience in multi-gigabit equalization, clock and data recovery technologies and industrial measurement techniques for equalizers/repeaters, retimers, and SerDes products used in data communication.
The ideal candidate should have experience in most of the following areas:
oExperience in high-speed equalization and SerDes technologies
oKnowledge in high-speed communication standards such as Ethernet, SAS/SATA, PCIe, Infiniband, Fibrechannel etc
oStrong knowledge in high speed signal integrity and board development
oHands-on experience with high-speed equipment such as BERT, VNA, TDR, oscilloscopes and measurement techniques
oStrong communications skills: written and spoken communication
oKnowledge in system-level IBIS-AMI channel simulations or software/scripting (Python, Matlab, Perl) is an advantage
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of a BSEE or equivalent with at least 5 years of engineering experience. This position is based in Santa Clara, CA.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
