Texas Instruments is seeking a senior analog IC designer in our Santa Clara, CA high speed data path design team.
As a senior analog designer you will be working on industry leading edge, high speed wireline transceiver product development.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Architecture and transistor level design, layout supervision and silicon evaluation
- Collaborating with test, product, and applications engineers to develop high speed products from initial concept phase throughout the product release process
- Detailed transistor level design of analog and mixed signal building blocks including: equalizers (CTLE ,DFE), clock data recovery (CDR) circuits, high speed FIR driver, DC biasing and reference blocks, VCOs, PLLs, SERDES etc.
- Participating in design reviews and creating the necessary design and product documentation
- Working closely with digital designers in developing advanced signal processing/adaptation algorithms
- Coming up with solutions for various design challenges after evaluating and debugging silicon in the lab
- Designing in with advanced CMOS and BiCMOS technology as well as commercially available foundry technologies
Basic
Qualifications:
- MSEE or advanced with 5
years of relevant industry experience with a strong background in analog/mixed signal design
- Experience with various high speed wireline transceivers and design techniques
- Proven track of record of analog/mixed signal product development
- Strong fundamentals in high speed serial links like ISI, Jitter, equalization techniques, CDR architectures
- Good oral and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to work independently with limited supervision
- Understanding silicon manufacturing technology in depth
- Strong understanding of state of the art adaptation algorithms
- Analog behavioral modeling (Veriloga) experience is a plus
- Experience with high speed lab equipment like BERT, sampling scopes
