Position overview
We're searching for an experienced Product Line Manager to lead a $170M
revenue, 95 person product line based in Santa Clara, Ca.
In this role, you'll have full P&L responsibility and complete R&D team which consists of marketing, apps, design, product and test. Experience in analog precision signal chain products is a plus.
In this role you will maximize revenue through active engagement with Sales and TI's Channel and EMSI organizations as well as plan and execute share gain strategies. The PLM will be responsible for planning and executing strategies to regain lost customers and drive growth in current customers as well as design and implement incentive programs.
The PLM will review P&L and operating plan monthly with F&O business partner, taking necessary actions to ensure margins and costs are on target. Run PLM Playbook Results and Operating Plan (RAOP) process.
In this role you will forecast revenue quarterly and review monthly, taking necessary action to achieve the goal and provide timely updates of significant upsides or issues and run PLM Playbook Forecast Review process.
The PLM is also responsible for identifying and executing cost reduction programs to improve the P&L, enhance competitiveness of the portfolio, and potentially open up new markets.
Job requirements
Qualified candidates will have a BSEE and 10
years of experience. Exceptional oral and written communications skills are also required. Approx 25 to 40% travel will be required for this position. The ability to lead functions including design, systems, applications, product and test engineering is required. Understanding of semiconductor technology, business management, strategic customer engagements and market positioning is a must.
Proficiency in coaching and developing a multi-functional staff is required. Extensive customer exposure with a product definition background and strong communication skills (oral & written) are also required.
